One of my wife and I’s favorite things to do is a vacation within a vacation. An “incep-cation” if you will where you go deeper into relaxation. The goal of these is usually to find a great hotel that we couldn’t afford to stay at through our entire vacation and just stay there one or two nights (if we are lucky).

For our recent trip to Hawaii, we did this at the Hotel Hana Maui – an absolutely unbelievable paradise. No phones, no televisions, no clocks, no radios – just the sound of the ocean, an awesome restaurant and an infinity pool that you will never forget.

I wish we were able to stay an additional night, but the one was special enough. If you ever find yourself in Maui and are not scared of driving the road to Hana – go for it.
