Pinterest Social Commerce Done Right…

DealPepper

Every once in a while in the research I do at work, I come across good examples of companies presenting products and services socially that are not only engaging but also successful. Here is a great example of a Pinterest detail page from Deal Pepper that encompasses it all. The reasoning for this is quite simple:

  1. Clear branding of site name and profile (it’s a brand)
  2. Large and clear commerce focused image of the product
  3. Product contains the “price banner” from Pinterest
  4. Product marketing (model, price, discount amount, leader message (free shipping))
  5. Boards that this product belongs to are well curated and engaging

When you are configuring your eCommerce site to use the Pinterest Pin button, you should take the above into consideration.
