In my spare time I enjoy racing Porsche’s all over the Pacific Northwest with the Where2Race / XYO Racing autocross team.

Packing up and getting the gear all ready for the 24 hour drive to Lincoln Nebraska fir the SCCA Solo Nationals. Hopefully I can do everything possible to get the car in great shape for Britain to place in the top 5. My goal is to just not be DFL (dead fucking last).
Will be shooting photos and videos of the even, cars and we should have new in car smarty cam video coverage complete with overlays when we return.

Possibly the best video I have seen that illustrates the heel-toe technique used by some of the best drivers. I have been trying to perfect this for quite some time, this video will help considerably.
When I received a link sent to me in an email with the subject of “Discover Mono”, I immediately thought it was spam or something from the Tosh.0 blog with a throw back to high school life. When I noticed the person that sent it was a friend of mine that is a very good race car driver – I knew it was something more.
Upon visiting the site, I was in awe – a street legal Formula 1 inspired lightweight asphalt killing machine called the Mono. For its design and technology it is actually quite affordable (£70,000). Although more expensive then the Ariel Aton or CrossBow, its stats and specifications seem to be better. Now I just have to wait for it to get into the hands of Jeremy Clarkson or The Stig.

One of my better runs for the day, loving the new JDM STI Engine! You can see where the back end just doesn’t want to cooperate, so we are going to add stiffer springs (50lbs+) to see if we can get the car to stop pushing into the turns.

An earlier ride in the new 914(with Subaru engine). We still have a boost, clutch and brake problem but things are coming together.
