When I received a link sent to me in an email with the subject of “Discover Mono”, I immediately thought it was spam or something from the Tosh.0 blog with a throw back to high school life. When I noticed the person that sent it was a friend of mine that is a very good race car driver – I knew it was something more.

Upon visiting the site, I was in awe – a street legal Formula 1 inspired lightweight asphalt killing machine called the Mono. For its design and technology it is actually quite affordable (£70,000). Although more expensive then the Ariel Aton or CrossBow, its stats and specifications seem to be better. Now I just have to wait for it to get into the hands of Jeremy Clarkson or The Stig.
