We knew when we built poxt that the only real way to compete with larger classified ad systems was to make sure the users that supported us got paid. That is exactly what we are going to do. Go to poxt.com and sign up as an affiliate, using either a banner display or an ad display like th one featured here:
You will be paid $0.49 for every ad added to the system from any user that comes through from your affiliate links. Pretty sweet.
A few months ago someone introduced me to krop.com, a great job board that I found instantly easy to use, entertaining and ultimately a great resource. What troubled me about it was the lack of some features and that it can be tuned to be more of a universal ad tool, and not just for jobs. So, two months of development later I introduce the friends and family version of POXT.COM - the new, easy way to post a classified ad.
We wanted to make sure it wasn’t only easy to use, we wanted to make sure people use it. So we set the ad price at what we believe is the bare minimum - $1.99 for 30 days for anything. We are also introducing a great affiliate program. It allows you to show ads on your site and banners - and any traffic brought in pays you for ads that are posted.
