Tonight I am proud to announce that only after 8 days of our public beta, we have reached 500 users. These users are also very evangelistic, creating over 160 services, 30 spaces and 20 events (3 with which are publicly accessible).
The feedback from these users has also been very valuable and has created a few new to-do’s for us. We are refining a few of the My Event Space tools and also creating a new help system that should alleviate any future problems.
If you are interested in some other statistics, here are a few to wet your whistle (these are from the public beta launch to tonight):
Unique Visitors: 2,063
Page Views: 23,853
We are expecting exponential growth of these numbers over the next 4 - 8 weeks as we increase awareness of EventSpace.com

We are proud to announce a few great new features to the latest build of EventSpace.com. These features were some of the most requested by the hundreds of comments we have received through our alpha and beta testing.
Feature: Guest Importer. You can now import all your contacts from Google, Yahoo and Hotmail to easily send your guests messages and invitations to your events. We will also be adding many more services that you will be able to import guests from. If you have one that you would like to see part of the importer, please let us know and we can see what we can do.
Feature: Public Events. You can now choose your event to be seen by the world! When adding an event in My Event Space, simply click Public under the event access area and the rest happens automatically. Users of the site can see your event and contact you about attending. We will be adding many features to our public events soon; including after event sharing of stories, photos and more.
Aside from the latest feature releases we have also fixed many small bugs and refined some of the processes to send messages, add guests and events and have expanded our event planning tools.
Check out EventSpace.com and make sure to sign up so see the My Event Space tools!

Announcing “Cordial” our 0.5 beta release. This is the first fully public release of EventSpace.com to the world, allowing spaces, services, planners and users with private and public events to post anything for free. If you have an event space or service you can now add your listing at no charge. Put your business in front of thousands of people a day looking for exactly what you provide.
Thank you to all of our Alpha testers, including the spaces and services that were there from the start. We have a few special surprises for them, including free home page placement for their listings and the distinction of a Premiere Space - coming soon as a graphical badge of honor.
We look forward to becoming the destination on the net for events, event spaces, services and planners and will be introducing Event Network features to help the entire industry.

In the next two weeks EventSpace.com will launch some of the most highly requested features as we move into our public beta phase and bring our services to the world. Possibly the most requested is Public Events. Using the core system we have in place, users will be able to search for public events in their city and join them to give event planners acurate attendence status for their planned events. We will also make it easier to transition to use EventSpace.com when planning your events by offering the guest import wizard. This allows you to import all your contacts from leading web based resources like Google, Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo and more and easily build your guests lists for events.
We have many more features planned for our future releases as we position ourselves to be the best event destination on the net.
